Frankly I find someone openly advertising booze more injurious to the Christian faith.
Maybe Apologetics got a reputation of arguing to prove that someone is right was because for so long what constituted correct doctrine and its formulation was neglected.
There can be a tendency to argumentative among apologists.
But does that anymore negate its validity than the tendency of counseling or ministry types to overharp their preferred priority of everyonestriving to get along which usually results in everyone else having to shut up for the sake of emotions and unity?
The fact that he points out that most attacks come from within the church rather than from without proves the results of what happens when this whinebipper’s lackadaisical approach to theology is taken.
