So if government teachers can get paid upwards around $45,000 to $50,000 and still be considered to be engaged in public service, why should the rest of us be continually hounded about "giving back to the COMMUNITY" for free when the occupations we are engaged in are as every much a social and economic necessity as the teaching profession.
