The Zero Seconds initiative insists that is how long a child should be left alone in a car. While this sounds enligtened, given the way other kinds of zero tolerance policies are implemented such as those banning plastic utensils in school cafeterias, are cops & crats on powertrips going to charge parents as negligent if the trip from the front of the car to the back takes more than 1 second?
