An Analysis Of “Blinded By Might: Can The Religious Right Save America”, Part 4
In the chapter “Prohibiting Evil”, Ed Dobson examines the relationship between law and morality. This is accomplished primarily through consideration of the temperance movement and Prohibition. It was believed in an era often characterized by an eschatological perspective best described as expectant postmillennialism that it was a Christian obligation to exert power and influence for the purposes of perfecting social institutions and elevating conditions for the greatest possible number. Composed primarily of an alliance of Protestant clergyman and reformist suffragettes motivated in large part by religious principles hoping to advance the plight of women, the Women's Christian Temperance Union and the Anti-Saloon League achieved their ultimate objective in the ratification of the Eighteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution which on the national level forbade the production, sale, and distribution of alcohol.
Dobson admits at first Prohibition was a success since for a brief period the consumption of alcohol did decrease. However, consumption eventually returned to previous levels thanks to an elicit want met as a result of a network of criminal bootleggers and law enforcement unwilling or too overwhelmed to enforce these statutes. This resulted in the need to repeal the amendment, it was argued, in order to preserve respect for the law in its totality without which the entire political system could potentially collapse. With the advance of assorted forms of socialism across Europe such as Bolshevism in Russia and Nazism in German, the potential of revolutionary upheaval was a viable possibility.
Dobson is correct that one cannot hope to transform a culture through law alone without corresponding changes also taking place in hearts and minds. However, Dobson's viewpoint is disturbingly deficient in the role law ought to play as a bulwark standing for what is right irrespective of popularity and to protect the innocent from those capable of imposing their viewpoint on the basis of accrued power or brute strength alone. Dobson argues that respect for the law is based on moral consensus with this also serving as the foundation of legislation as well.
Yet such a position differs little from pluralism or relativism. One might even make the case that the philosophical critical mass for such a monumental paradigm shift to take place was not reached until a definitive pronouncement was set down in law or at least judicial rulings. In certain instances, the decision had to be implemented by force in areas where such ethical conclusions were not initially embraced.

Why Don’t Christian Men Shoot Their Shot In Church: Christian Men Don’t Talk To Women In Church
For starters, not as many desirable single women in church as propaganda has led many to believe.
Second, Christian women are often the pickiest out there.
They are still not going to give you the time of day.
Just because they claim they want a godly, kind man, their actions still prove they still prefer Chaddish scumbags provided he has money and is sufficiently arrogant.
And if you approach someone unsolicitedly these days, you are just about chewed out for being a harasser or sexual predator.
Is not worth the hassle if the woman already has young kids in tow and is essentially sloppy seconds.
Frankly, this “shooting your shot” terminology apparently in vogue sounds more like depositing your wad of genetic man goo rather than simply speaking to someone.

Men Blamed For So Many Allegedly Godly Women Being Single
The graphic advertising this episode reads “So Many Men Don’t Shoot Their Shot”.
And why should they when at best they are damned as perennial never good enoughs?
Despite all the claims to the contrary, women are as obsessed with looks and perhaps even more so these days than men.
This stuff does not work unless you have a boatload of money or are a Chad.
Given the consequences, why should men risk asking women out in times of social collapse?
By doing so, a man risks a harassment allegation if he were to ask a woman out on more than one occasion and in certain instances if he does something as innocent as attempt to initiate a conversation without permission.
Second, are women these days really all that godly?
Why ought a man that has kept his genitals clean in terms of not holstering his appendage where it does not belong when so many women have splayed their thighs apart already for the men deemed more desirable in terms of looks and money even bother?
Jesus forgives.
However, seldom does He cure venereal disease and certainly doesn’t remove birthed children from the time stream.
The woman that have already had children should instead focus on raising these and perhaps wait for the friendship of a male companion after the progeny have already established their own lives once they grow up.
And at that time, hopefully these women will not have had their faces hacked to pieces with bad plastic surgery as the host of this program apparently did.
Better to just let things droop naturally.
Just because you pray for something, it doesn’t mean you get what you want.
Revealing how this video emphasized the evil of women having their hearts stomped all over but not a word about similar being done to men.
Sometimes the best person you can end up with is nobody at all.
Why Men Rarely Talk To Women Anymore
The thing of it is not so much that more men mirror what is characterized as a more feminine energy such as emotion.
Is that, despite women claiming to want men to be more sensitive and gentle, women reject and overlook the men that are that way naturally despite still being heterosexual and falling within the boundaries of masculinity.
Why Are Churches Giving Men The Wrong Playbook With Women?
Of course the main lesson few are willing to admit to is that none are going to want you unless you have a boatload of money and are above average in appearance.
At this point, all you can hope for is to accumulate resources for yourself and that you have enough to cover you until you transition to the next existence at an advanced age.
But if the average man only becomes worthy later on as this video suggests, why is he obligated to settle for sloppy seconds?
Accurate in admitting that men love women more than women love men..
Which brings one back to the question hardly anyone is willing to address since that is the case, why ought men to bother with women at all to any entangled degree?
